What is “Anamchara Alchemy”?
Anamchara is an ancient Irish word meaning “soul-friend” - a trusted companion who offers compassionate guidance in life and gentle presence at the threshold of death. Alchemy is the art of transformation: the turning of one state into another.
As a Pet Loss Doula, my work lives at this meeting place - walking beside you and your animal companion as you experience the profound transformations of love, letting go, and grief, with steadiness, compassion, and care for both heart and soul.
